2x positions - 1 at Ellesmere Port // 1 at Chester
Full time hours Monday to Friday
ASAP Start - Temp on-going with termly reviews
£20 per hour

We are currently recruiting for two Personal Development Tutors, with one position based at our Chester Campus and one at our Ellesmere Port Campus. These are 37 hours per week, term-time only, temporary cover positions, available for an immediate start and reviewed on a termly basis.

Rate: £20 per hour

Key Requirements

• Level 3 qualification (minimum)
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C / 4 / 5 (or equivalent)
• Experience delivering sessions to groups of learners
• Experience working with safeguarding procedures and supporting young people
• Strong pastoral support skills
• Teaching experience would be beneficial but is not essential

About the Role

The Personal Development Tutor role involves supporting learners to achieve their potential through:

• Delivering engaging group tutorial sessions
• Providing one-to-one pastoral support for learners requiring additional guidance
• Monitoring attendance, engagement and learner progress
• Supporting employability, personal development and progression opportunities
• Working closely with colleagues to safeguard and support students throughout their learner journey
